I appreciate VM Player and have no interest in hacking it. I had no idea why they did not allow Apple to run on VM Player so thanks for the explanation. I like Apple even less now. What I don't understand is why VMWare has the software onboard to allow an Mac OS to be loaded. You can't hack a system if the means is not there.

At the present time Apple's SLA for Mac OS X only allows versions Mac OS X 10.5 Server, Mac OS X 10.6 Server and Mac OS X 10.7 Client/Server to be legally installed on and or virtualized on Apple Branded Hardware and the only VMware product that is supported for this is VMware Fusion when being run on a Genuine Intel Based Mac! Unlock VMware Player for the Mac OS X virtual machine. By default, VMware player cannot run a Mac OS X virtual machine on Windows. We need to patch the player to unlock this capability manually. For that end, we will use the unlocker that the splendid fellows at InsanelyMac have created. We will have to download the following file.

Workstation Player is also widely used in education for learning more about the world of information technology and computer systems.
